“You don't have enough faith, ”Yeshua told them. I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, “Move from here to there,” and it would move. Nothing would be impossible’. Matthew 17:20 NLT

David praises God and calls Him his Lord and Master (psalm 16:2). Can you make that affirmation today? A Master or Lord is someone who has rightful power and authority over someone else’s life. Because God created you, in a very real sense you belong to Him and all you have is His. God created you out of love, so you can put Him first in all aspects of your life and give Him your complete allegiance. You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power. For you created all things, and they exist because you created what You pleased” (Revelation 4:11).
Yeshua rebuked the disciples for insufficient faith. He was showing how important faith would be in their future ministry. If you are facing problems that seem as big and immovable as a mountain, turn your eyes from the mountain and look to Yeshua for more faith. Then you will be able to overcome the obstacles that stand in your way.
We may spend a lot of things and effort trying to sharpen our skills or increase our strength. Although there is nothing wrong with doing so, and, in fact, our resulting skills can be used to glorify God , that is not what God primarily desires from us. When we use our gifts with no regard for God, they accomplish little of lasting value. Ultimately, God desires our fear (reverence) and trust. When He has those, then He can use our skills and strength in ways far greater than we can imagine.
The Word of God gives us more than simply a collection of words from God, a vehicle for communicating His ideas; it has living life changing and dynamic power that works in us. With the incisiveness of a surgeon's knife, God’s Word reveals who we are and what we are not. It penetrates to the core of our moral and spiritual lives. It discerns both the good and the evil within us. God’s powerful Word will change us. We must not only listen to it; we must also let it transform our lives.
“Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Remember the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Yeshua’ (Colossians 3:23-24).
