Temple Maintenance
“This is what the Lord says: Stand in the courtyard in front of the Temple of the Lord, and make an announcement to the people who have come there to worship from all over Judah. Give them my entire message; include every word". - Jeremiah 26:2
HEALTH TIPS: Fully accept and obey God's Word without omission, as doing so promotes overall well-being, including spiritual health, which in turn impacts physical health.
The prophet Jeremiah's obedience in delivering a potentially unpopular message, the underlying principle is that fully adhering to God's instructions—which include guidance on how to live—is for our ultimate good and health.
In this verse, God tells Jeremiah to stand in the courtyard of the temple—a place where everyone could see and hear him. It wasn’t a hidden corner or a private room, but the center of public life. God’s message was meant for all people, and Jeremiah was called to speak it openly.
God also commands him to proclaim “all the words that I command you.” Nothing was to be softened, adjusted, or held back. Jeremiah’s task was not to make the message comfortable—it was to be faithful. Even though the message would be difficult and the audience resistant, God still expected complete obedience.
This moment invites us to reflect on our own calling. Are we willing to stand where God places us—visible, present, and faithful? Are we willing to speak truth even when it may cost us approval, comfort, or ease? Faithfulness often requires courage, not because the message is harsh, but because it is holy.
Today, let this verse remind you to hear God’s voice clearly, to stand where He leads boldly, and to share His truth completely. The world still needs people who will live and speak with integrity—people like Jeremiah, who choose obedience over popularity.
