Expect All “Things” Become New

“And the One sitting on the throne said, “Look, I Am making everything new!” And then He said to me, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true” - Revelation 21:5 NLT

God was the Creator in the beginning. Everything was new then. The Bible begins with the majestic story of His creation of the universe, and it concludes with His creation of a new Heaven and a new earth. This brings us bright hope and tremendous encouragement. When we are with God, with our sins forgiven and our future secure, we will be like Christ. We will be made perfect like Him (1 John 3:2-3). We’ll have new bodies, new hearts, and a fresh desire for worship, and we will be with millions of brothers and sisters we have not met yet. By faith, we look forward to living forever with God in this glorious place He has created.

“Now I tell you new things, secrets you have not heard yet”(Isaiah 48:6b). For unfailing love surrounds those who trust the Lord. So, rejoice in the Lord and be glad, all you who obey Him! Shout for joy, all you whose hearts are pure” (Psalm 32:10-11).

God is calling us to a higher place and deeper relationship with Him. The joys that we will experience with Him far outweigh all temporary pleasure you’ve experienced without Him. God wants to be at the helm of your life. He wants to be our all in all, trust and hold on Him daily promises He gives you. As you worship Him, He‘ll renew your mind and clean and restore everything and make all things new for you.
