A Son Calls Out - Abba Father!

And because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, “Abba, Father.” Galatians 4:6 NLT

Before we accepted Yeshua into our lives, we were lost, we were slaves to sin, we were slaves to the spirits that rule the world. We fulfilled the lust of the flesh Galatians 5:21. But God so loved us that He sent His only begotten Son to die for us, John3:16. And this changed everything for us.

When Yeshua died, our debt of sin was fully paid. This resulted in God’s acceptance of us as His children. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure, Ephesians 1:5 NLT. God adopted us as His children. He called us His sons.

Therefore, we are no longer slaves to sin, but we have been set free and are now joint heirs with Christ. For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children. And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory, Romans 8:16-17a NLT. Because we are God’s children, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts which causes us to call God, Abba Father, Galatians 4:7 NLT.

See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! 1 John 1:3 NLT. As children of God, as a joint heir with Christ, we have access to God and we will receive all the good things that God has promised. One of the things that God has promised us is that we will not perish but have eternal life. Another promise is God’s unfailing love. For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then my faithful love for you will remain. My covenant of blessing will never be broken,” says the Lord, who has mercy on you, Isaiah 54:10 NLT.

Remember, you are no longer a slave to sin, but a joint heir with Yeshua. You have access to Abba Father! Now go and live like it!
