“No, O people, the Lord has told you what is good, and this is what He requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and walk humbly with your God”- Micah 6:8 NLT.

People have tried all kinds of ways to please God, but God has made His requirements clear. Do what is just and right, love mercy and walk humbly with Him. In your efforts to please God, examine these areas on a regular basis. Are you fair in your dealings with people and money? Do you show mercy to those who wrong you? Do you keep your ego from taking over your thoughts and actions? Are you living in a way that reflects a deep and growing relationship with God?
For at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (Ephesians 5:8). As people who have light from the Lord, our actions will reflect our faith. Yeshua stressed this truth in the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5:15-16). Our pasts may have dark times of cynicism, despair, shame, or self-doubt. Satan desires to lead us back into darkness. We must reject him by intentionally living out what pleases the Lord. In this way, Yeshua’s Light will keep shining brighter in us.
But whoever keeps His Word, in him truly the Love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in Him (1 John 2:5). God wants us to hear His Word, to know His Word, to trust His Word, and to keep His Word. Once the Word is in our hearts by faith, it is only then that we can KEEP God's Word, for our lives are to be lived in Spirit and Truth. We cannot keep His Word in the strength of our own fleshly nature. The only way to keep His Word is to remain in Yeshua, living in the Power of the Spirit of God, Who guides and directs our path and checks and corrects our thoughts. But whoever keeps God's Word demonstrates that the Love of God is in him, and God's Love is very different from human love. His Love is a godly Love, a pure Love, a perfect Love, and it is this godly Love that is being perfected in us as we keep His Word.
He who keeps (treasures) His Word [who bears in mind His precepts, who observes His message in its entirety], truly in him has the Love of and for God been perfected (completed, reached maturity). By this we may perceive (know, recognise, and be sure) that we are in Him."
May we turn from the things of this world in willing submission to God's child-training program so that like the LORD Yeshua Messiah, we may live in Spirit and Truth, walking in the light as He is in the light, and love others as He loves us until in all things we can say: "Father, Thy Will Be done in me."
According to Romans 12:2: “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the Will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect”. Walk with Him daily.
