Love The Journey

“God arms me with strength, and He makes my way perfect”- Psalm 18:32 NLT.

ree

Everything and everyone everywhere is to praise the Lord. that includes us. Even mighty angels praise Him. This gives us more than just a poetic  picture. God rules in Heaven today, so we can be confident that He is in control even if we cannot see it (Revelation 5:11-13). Praising God means remembering all He has done for us (Psalm 103:2), fearing Him and obeying His commands (103:17-18), and doing His will (103:21). Does your life praise the Lord?

Psalm 18:32 reminds us that our strength is not found in ourselves, but in the Lord who empowers His children. Just as David experienced victory and resilience through God’s hand, we too are sustained by His mighty power. Every triumph and every step forward is a testimony that true strength flows from Him alone. When we place our trust in the Lord, He surrounds us with His shield of protection, guiding our steps and keeping us safe. The image of God as our rock and fortress speaks of His unshakable Presence, offering stability and direction in the storms of life.

This verse is a gentle reminder to lean daily on God’s strength, to rest in His protection, and to walk confidently in His guidance. May it encourage us to draw near to Him, knowing He is faithful to uphold us in every season.

God does not promise to eliminate challenges; instead, He promises to give us strength to meet those challenges. If He gave us no rough roads to walk, no mountains to climb, and no battles to fight, we would not grow. He does not leave us alone with our challenges, however. Instead, He stands beside us, teaches us, and strengthens us to face them. We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps (Proverbs 16:9). When the people of Jerusalem left God’s path, He would correct them. He will do the same for us. But when we hear His voice of correction, we must be willing to follow it (Isaiah 30:21)!

For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him. To change our desires to be more like Yeshua, we need the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit (Philippians 1:19), the influence of faithful believers, obedience to God’s Word, and sacrificial services. Often it is in doing God’s will that we gain the desire to do it. Do what He wants and trust Him to change your desires.
