Fulfill the Law of Christ

Dear brothers, if a Christian is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help him back onto the right path, remembering that next time it might be one of you who is in the wrong. Share each other’s troubles and problems and so obey our Lord’s command. If anyone thinks he is too great to stoop to this, he is fooling himself. He is really a nobody. Galatians 6:1-3 TLB

Life can be tough at times. We are faced with many temptations every day. The world is full of enticements. There are so many distractions or things to lure us into sin. While looking at the television, the cell phone, the tablet etc.; there are so many things that we see to distract and entice us. We as believers are not exempt from the temptations of sin. The truth is anyone can fall into sin.

When a brother or a sister fall victim to the devil devices, what are we to do as believers? The scripture of today states, we are to help each other get back on the right path. We are not to look down on our brother or sister. We are not to gossip and tell everyone. We who are strong are to pray for them; we are to stand in the gap for them. We cannot say, that is their business. No! The scripture says we are to bear one another’s burden.

Even Yeshua prayed for Peter. And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fails not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren - Luke 22:31-32 KJV.

Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall - 1 Corinthians 10:12. We cannot feel we have arrived and we will never fall into sin. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour - 1 Peter 5:8 KJV.

Today, let’s bear one another burden and pray for each other. If we know of someone who has fallen victim to the devil’s schemes, let’s be the one to help restore them in love. The word of God says, by doing this we obey the Lord’s command. We do not know if we too will one day be needing the help of our brothers and sisters.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us - Romans 5:8 KJV.
