Go With God

“For His invisible attributes, namely, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.” - Romans 1:20 ESV

From the beginning, God has made Himself known. The star-filled heavens silently proclaim His Glory, inviting every heart to look upward and acknowledge the Creator. As time unfolded, God patiently revealed His nature and character to humanity. Yet even when Noah faithfully warned the world, his message was ignored, and the flood came as judgment upon a generation that had turned away from God. Still, the human heart continued in rebellion, and at Babel, the confusion of languages testified to mankind’s refusal to submit to his Creator.

Since the dawn of creation, God has never left Himself without witness. His invisible attributes His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly displayed through the beauty, order, and majesty of the world He made. Yet humanity chose darkness over light, exchanging the Truth of God for illusions, and placing self upon the throne of the heart instead of the living God.

Man did not begin in ignorance of God. He did not slowly invent a deity to satisfy an inner longing. Rather, from the very beginning, God’s Presence and Power were evident in all that He created. Through the works of His hands, His eternal nature has been made plain, leaving no one without testimony.

How solemn, then, is the reality that to deny our Creator is to stand without excuse. And yet, how wondrous is God’s Love. Though rejected, He did not turn away from us. Instead, He sent His only begotten Son to bear our sin and suffer on the cross, so that through Him we might be forgiven, restored, and brought back into fellowship with the God who made us and loves us eternally.I came that they may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10).
