But thanks be to God, who keeps giving us the victory through our Lord Yeshua the Messiah! 1 Corinthians 15:57 TLV

Have you stopped recently and looked back on your life before making Yeshua your Lord and Savior? Many of us were lost and were in bondage to sin. Life at times seemed hopeless; but one day we heard the good news and our life was changed and transformed.
Now I know when things are going well, we tend to forget and even become prideful. We sometimes behave like we did it, like we are who we are because of what we did. Truth is, if it had not been for the Lord, many of us would have been lost and undone.
This is a time when thanksgiving is celebrated and indeed there are many things, we can give thanks for. Our scripture reference says, ‘but thanks be to God, who keeps giving us the victory through our Lord Yeshua the Messiah. Who we are and what we are is not because of us and what we have done, but because of what God the Father did for us, by sending His Son Yeshua to earth to die for us.
Today we have victory and will continue to have victory over sin and anything that we may face in this life. This victory is because of Yeshua, the Messiah. When we think of the finish work, He did for us, how can we be ungrateful and not give thanks. God is good and remains faithful to us. There are so many things we can give Him thanks for. When we are tempted, He also makes a way of escape for us. No temptation has taken hold of you except what is common to mankind. But God is faithful—He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can handle. But with the temptation He will also provide a way of escape, so you will be able to endure it – 1 Corinthians 10:13 TLV.
Prayer: Father God, I want to take a few minutes to say THANK YOU! Thank you for your agape love; even when we were yet sinners, you demonstrated your love for us. You continue to love us despite our shortcomings and for this I say, thank you! Thank you for your Son, our Lord and Savior who gave His life for us, so that we can have life and have life more abundantly. Not only have life abundantly but have eternal life. Thank you for the Holy Spirit who lives in us, teaches us and will never leave nor forsake us. Lord, I say thank you! May we never forget what you have done and still continue to do for us.
