Boldness Through Love

“So, we have come to know and trust in the love that God has for us. God is love. Now whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. In this way, love is made perfect among us, so that we should have boldness on the Day of Judgment. For just as He is, so also are we in this world ”- 1 John 4:16-17 TLV.

God is love, and to know Him is to live within that love. Through faith in Yeshua, we have come to know and believe the love God has for us, a love revealed by the Father, made visible in the Son, and witnessed within us by the Holy Spirit. This love is not earned; it is received by trusting His Word, and it secures our hope and identity in Yeshua.

As God’s love matures in us, it produces confidence rather than fear. Perfected love gives us boldness before God, not because we are flawless, but because we are clothed in Christ’s righteousness. “As He is, so are we in this world.” Resting in this truth frees us to live reflectively, loving, forgiving, and serving as Yeshua does. When we abide in His love, His love abides in us, strengthening our witness and filling our lives with assurance, peace, and hope. God is love, and in Him, we are secure.

The day of judgement is the time when all people will appear before God and be held accountable for their actions. With God’s Spirit living in us, we have no reason to fear this day because we have been forgiven and saved from punishment. Instead, we can look forward to the day of judgement because it will mean the end of sin and the beginning of a face to face relationship with God. For now focus on abiding in Him!
