“Abraham set seven ewe lambs of the flock by themselves... So that place was called Beersheba, because there both of them swore an oath.” — Genesis 21:28–31 (TLV)

Abraham's seven ewe lambs were more than a gift—they were a seed of truth, peace, and covenant. Instead of striving over the well, Abraham sowed integrity and trusted God to establish what was rightfully his. His obedience became a lasting testimony of God's faithfulness.

This reminds us that the seeds we sow today shape tomorrow's harvest. When we sow integrity, we reap favor (Proverbs 11:3). When we pursue peace, we reap righteousness (James 3:18). When we honor our commitments, God establishes our steps (Psalm 37:23). Above all, those who sow in faith will reap in God's appointed time (Galatians 6:9).

Like Abraham, we are called to keep sowing the right seeds—even when the harvest is not yet visible. Every act of obedience, every choice to walk in truth, and every step of faith becomes a testimony that God is faithful to fulfill His promises.

What seed of integrity, peace, or faithfulness is God asking you to keep planting today?
